Foothills Academy
Established in 1979, Foothills Academy was the first school in Alberta for students with learning disabilities and one of the first in Canada.
Foothills Academy has a dual purpose.
- It offers a full time School Program for students with learning disabilities from 8 to 18 years of age.
- Foothills Academy Community Services Program supports professionals and parents through research, tutoring, in-service, lectures and the publishing of materials relevant to the learning disabled child.
